Glycolic acid

Glycolic acid is the best-known alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA), thanks to its potent renewing and regenerating power. Alpha-hydroxy acids are a type of water-soluble acid derived from fruits and other natural products.
The function of glycolic acid is to weaken the cohesion between the superficial cells of the epidermis, remove dead skin cells and stimulate the epidermis’ regenerative process.
It has an exfoliating action, can penetrate deep skin layers, improves acne scars, tightens pores, corrects dark spots, provides radiance, controls sebum production and promotes cell renewal.
