Retinyl palmitate

Retinyl palmitate is a retinol derivative and less reactive and irritating than pure retinol, which means it can be applied during the day without damaging the skin.
It improves the skin’s appearance by stimulating cell regeneration, enhancing the skin’s antioxidant defence mechanism, preventing new wrinkles and smoothing existing ones.
It also inhibits collagenase, which is responsible for breaking down collagen, thus increasing the amount of collagen in the skin.
